"Hana Kimi" SP confirmed | Tue, March 18, 2008

Finally I've been waiting for this but i'm sure not only me. I missed all the casts.

Last summer's "Hanazakari no Kimitachi e" drama series is returning for a one-episode special. Starring Maki Horikita, Shun Oguri, and Toma Ikuta, the show was very popular, especially among female viewers. It averaged 17.3% ratings, with the final episode reaching 21.0%.

According to Fuji TV, the special will take place half a year after the series' end. With Osaka Gakuen getting ready for an upcoming Valentine's Day event, Sano (Oguri) and Nakatsu (Ikuta) reflect on the final week of their last summer vacation, which falls into the timeline of the original series between episodes 7 and 8. The special also includes a graduation scene and addresses the relationship between Mizuki (Horikita) and Sano.

Filming begins on Wednesday, but no broadcast date has been specified yet.

This is FujiTV's popular series <> SP report. (The broadcasting time has not been set.) As a youthful drama set in a boy's school, Horikita Maki experienced her first time role as a boy and all the male actors were deemed "handsome men," including Oguri Shun and Ikuta Toma, amongst other hot actors.

The story is set half a year after Ashiya Mizuki (Horikita) left Osaka Gakuen due to her identity exposure. The school is hosting a Valentine's Day event. In the interim, Sano (Oguri) and Nakatsu (Ikuta) recollect the last week of vacation that they spent with Mizuki. The story expands on this blank week. It will also explore Mizuki and Sano's love.

Having once again cut her hair, Horikita, who is challenging the role of Mizuki, said, "Although I felt nervous about whether or not I can find Mizuki's spirit again, this feeling evaporated after my hair cut. I will work hard at portraying the lively Mizuki again."

Oguri said, "I will once again act as a high school student, and I will utilize skills that had not been exposed in the series. I will work hard!"

Ikuta confidently exclaimed, "I was certain that I would meet this cast again. After the series ended, I was very happy to find all the actors lively. Because I experienced a lot of excitement in this drama, I can't wait to see everyone again and reaffirm the experience we have all gained from acting together. This show will be a holiday! When it airs, please join in on the Ikemen Holiday. I'm waiting for you, Baby!"

Pinky Interview of Ikuta Toma | March 0008

thanks to T
eacup79@Tomalicious who take time just to translate this interview..

This interview really suprise me because of Toma's very strighth answers. Toma never fails to suprised me because i didn't expect him to be this straightfoward . He seems kinder to his friends, then I'd rather be his friend if that is his real attitude.

The dream of living together with Ikuta-kun

“If Toma’s handsome face was close at hand…” “If you could see his smile at any time…” Oh no! The passionate fantasies of handsome Ikuta-kun can’t be abated. Even I myself am caught up in these thoughts, so I’ve decided to pretend we live together for this one time. Ikuta-kun, onegaishimasu!

[To smile together under the broad sky and enjoy youth (laugh)]

--It’s morning~ What would you like for breakfast?
Toma:“Do your fantasies start from here~!? (laugh) Ok! So that’s how it is. When I first get up, I won’t eat immediately. I’ll blurrily watch the news, so during that time, please prepare breakfast (I want Japanese food). I basically like white rice.”

--Is there news you’re particularly interested in?

Toma:“Will (Sakurai) Sho turn into yattaman? (laugh) I’m very interested in that piece of news.”

--How do you like your egg?
Toma: “Sweet, probably. And I want fish as well. If it’s just miso soup, the meal seems lacking.”

--Alright. So we’ve eaten breakfast together. What about lunch?
Toma: “Do we have to spend the whole day together like that? I’d probably get tired of it~~”

--Are you like that?
Toma: "Yeah. Even if it’s with a girl I like, if I had to stick with her every day, I might not like here anymore.”

--Then please go to work (T T). Will you text me a lot?
Toma: “Nope! Even if I do text, I’ll probably text right before I go home.”

--A surprisingly un-gentle Ikuta Toma
Toma: “I don’t really check my cell a lot, so I’d only send messages when I’m about to come home.”

--Ok! You’ve come home (heart) How’s filming of Honey and Clover going?
Toma:“The shooting location is very rowdy. It’s just rather cold in the mornings. I’d eat breakfast at four in the morning and film until the evening…”

--To wait for you at home the entire time is rather lonely~
Toma:“Ahahaha. Really?”

--Are you like this at the shooting location too?
Toma: “How should I say? When I’m with my co-actors, I’d crack up about the most minute things to experience youth.”

--I’d so jealous of the person you love, Narumi Riko, Hagumi’s actress.
Toma:“I’ll kick whoever says that. (laugh)”
[I Like Girls who worked Hard]

--Toma-sama is surprisingly a bit of a male chauvinist.
Toma:“Has our life together already turned into a battlefield? (laugh)”

--At first, I had the gentle image of you from Hachikuro in mind. But now you want to kick me?
Toma:“Ahahaha (laugh). The manga’s like that too. The art in Hachikuro is very pretty. The drama is too, especially the sakura scene with Hagumi. When the director yelled ‘cut’, he accidentally yelled ‘hachikuro cut’.”

--Takemoto’s unrequited love for Hagumi-chan is quite sad.
Toma: “Although it’s sad, it’s also understandable. To constantly watch over someone is a form of love. I think I could also love in that silent, watchful way. Of course, I’ve also had experiences of unrequited love myself. When I saw her and someone else slowly build up their feelings, I became jealous as well.”

--Girls often talk about relationship problems together. Do guys do it as well?
Toma: “Guys often discuss this. It’s like licking each other’s wounds, or cleaning them with peroxide. (laugh) Men are less likely to hide things. They’ll say things out very directly. Although I don’t often talk about my own feelings or thoughts, once I decide to be open with someone, I won’t feel conscientious or anything; I’ll just continue being my natural self. Our relationship will become very close, so the situation will become something like that.”

--Then, after today’s filming, will you go shopping with me?
Toma: “As long as you say “I want to go here.” I’m really bad at planning dates. Even if I go with guys out to eat, I can never decide the destination.”

--Then what should I buy? How would you like me to dress?
Toma: “Oh~I like shorts.”

--Wow, you replied really quickly. (Laugh)
Toma: “Shorts or medium-length pants with long boots! And I like the feeling of seeing a bit of the knee. (Heart) I also like seeing the skirt part of the dress matched with tights, floating. Yes, yes, I like it when the skirt floats and floats.” [lolz]

--Also, what kind of girl do you like? I hope you can tell me!
Toma: “The kind that’s gentle to everyone! The kind that doesn’t hesitate to give up her seat to an old person is good as well. And the kind that works hard for herself. I also want to support that effort. Instead of having her do something for me, I’d love to do something for her instead.” [nods*]

--Then~Toma should cook for me next time~ (heart)
